The debut EP from James Brewster / Peter Henning, entitled 'Rönnblomsgatan Rudbecksgatan', is out now on Swedish netlabel Hwem. The release is 15 minutes long, consisting of five tracks, and you can download it for free via hwem.net. You can also download the entire EP here from our own site, via the Audio section, as MP3s. In addition we have released a physical version of the EP on 3" CD, packaged in a custom made card box designed by Peter Henning. This artefact can be purchased from the shop page, and you can read more about it here and see photographs of the packaging here.

Improvisation and live performance are still the main focus of our collaboration, so we are always open to new opportunities to perform, be it duo sets or playing with other musicians. So if you are interested in getting us to play then please get in touch via the contact section.

Biography

James Brewster and Peter Henning are an improvising duo based in Malmö, Sweden. They began playing together in mid 2007 and released their debut EP in Janury 2008. Their main instruments are currently dual samplers and effects (James) and mixer and effects (Peter). They focus both on no input electronics as well as the live manipulation and processing of a variety of sound sources, including gongs, synths, cassette players, contact mic'd objects, field recordings, guitar drones and other elements taken from the spaces in which they happen to be playing (for example an oil drum found at the venue of their first gig).
